Amanda is a First Class Honours graduate in Physiotherapy from King’s College London, where she served as President of the Physiotherapy Society and was awarded Best Overall Clinical Placement Performance.
Prior to her clinical career, she trained at Performers College and worked as a professional dancer for over a decade. This background informs her specialist interest in Dance and Performing Arts physiotherapy. She is the founder of Advance Physiotherapy, integrating clinical expertise with a deep understanding of the physical and psychological demands of performance. She has undertaken further specialist training in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Vocal Physiotherapy.
Amanda adopts a holistic, bio-psychosocial approach to rehabilitation, with expertise in injury prevention. She has been recently engaged as a lower limb and paediatric musculoskeletal specialist at The Phoenix Hospital with a further specialism in Foot and Ankle physiotherapy and works closely with the NHS Dance Clinic in East London.
She is an active member of the International Association of Dance Medicine and Science and contributes to ongoing research and collaboration in injury prevention and dancer hormone health. Alongside her clinical work, Amanda is committed to education, regularly lecturing and delivering workshops to dancers across the UK.
Sophie is a Chartered Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist and certified Hintsa Performance Coach, specialising in performing arts. She works with pre-professional dancers as well as professional artists across West End and touring productions. With a background rooted in ballet and experience across multiple dance styles, she combines clinical expertise with first-hand understanding of the physical and psychological demands of performance.
Her approach is holistic and highly individualised, creating bespoke protocols that address not only the performer’s physical needs but also key factors such as nourishment, sleep, mindfulness, recovery, connection, and purpose. She has undertaken further specialist training in areas including sports massage, sports and kinesio taping, manual lymphatic drainage and vocal physiotherapy. Alongside her clinical work, she is currently developing an educational project for parents of young dancers, designed to empower them in supporting their child’s wellbeing and injury management.
Natalie is a Senior Chartered Physiotherapist with almost 20 years of experience, specialising in musculoskeletal and neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy. Her career has spanned both the NHS and private sectors, where she has worked extensively across outpatient services, orthopaedic and fracture clinics, accident and emergency triage, post-surgical rehabilitation, pain management, rheumatology, and paediatrics. She has developed particular expertise in lower limb rehabilitation, spinal conditions, and the management of complex musculoskeletal presentations.
In addition to her clinical work at Spire Hartwood, Wellsley Hospital, and Performers College, Natalie has a strong interest and wealth of experience in performing arts and sports-related rehabilitation. She is APPI Pilates qualified and integrates core strength, control, and functional retraining into her practice. Alongside her clinical work, she continues to dance in a variety of styles, which enriches her understanding of the physical demands placed on performers. Her holistic approach and breadth of experience allow her to support patients with a wide range of conditions, from post-surgical recovery to dance-related injuries, ensuring evidence-based, patient-centred care.
Sweet is an Accountant and Administrative Assistant with a strong background in financial management, administration, and client support. She has worked with both government offices and international companies, gaining expertise in bookkeeping, budget planning, invoicing, compliance, and organisational support. Her experience includes working with organisations such as Growth Wise Tutoring, LLC, Dirty Laundry Hot Yoga, and Level Up Talent Solutions, where she developed a reputation for adaptability, efficiency, and reliable results across diverse industries.
At Advance Physio, Sweet provides essential administrative and financial support, ensuring the clinic runs smoothly behind the scenes. From managing records to coordinating communication, her work allows the clinical team to focus fully on patient care. Detail-oriented and proactive, she combines strong organisational skills with professionalism, confidentiality and cross-cultural experience, supporting the team effectively and contributing to the delivery of high-quality physiotherapy services.
